What We Do

What We Do For You

We Do A Lot Of Things – Here’s What You Should Know

While we’ll try not to bore you with lots of extraneous details, there are some things you should know about what we do for you.

I’d like to break this information into four main areas –

  • Learn, collect data & strategize
  • Website
  • Google Business
  • Other Online Assets

These four main areas of work include about 95% of what we do for you. If you are one of our SEO clients, we may be doing some special tasks for your business that are unique to your situation. But the vast majority of what we do for you lies within the four main areas as shown above.

“Let me be clear: the basic fundamentals never change, but the methods and means to accomplish those fundamentals in the internet  do change, and can change rapidly and dramatically.”

Learn, Collect Data & Strategize

We start our process by learning about your business.  We get this data in several different ways. First, we talk to you and ask questions. Next, we may analyze your competitors. Sometimes we’ll get basic industry information that might shed some light on what your business and customers should look like.

Then, we dig into your numbers. If available we look at website traffic, Google My Business traffic, keyword ranking, backlinks, etc. Sometimes this data isn’t readily available, so we use other methods to approximate that data.

After that we build a strategy that we believe will fulfil the goal of building your business online. This strategy isn’t a rigid and unyielding plan; it’s actually a penciled-in blueprint that usually changes as we get more data. Being flexible with your strategy is key when working within an industry that seems to change on a weekly basis.

Let me be clear: the basic fundamentals never change, but the methods and means to accomplish those fundamentals in the internet  do change, and can change rapidly and dramatically.

Website

Your website is the “hub” of your business online. It’s where you showcase you, your expertise and your business in the best light possible.

Your website should contain everything about your business that clients and customers should know. In great detail you should describe your products and services, terms of service and contact information.

Whether we build your website or not, as a local SEO client we will “fortify” your website with appropriate content and search engine optimization-related technical changes designed to help rank better for your search terms and to help visitors become clients.

  • We work to get your page load times as low as possible so search engines and visitors will see your content in the shortest time possible.
  • We create separate pages for every service and product you offer.
  • Modify and optimize your mobile-enabled pages to give visitors page info and contact info ASAP.
  • Install a SSL (https) certificate so your website is trusted.
  • Correct errors and broken links.
  • Update the front page on a regular basis to keep search engines interested.
  • Much more!

Colorado Springs SEO Company

Your Google Business Page

This is where most Colorado Springs SEO companies miss the boat by not expending a substantial effort to optimize your Google Business page.

Your Google Business Page has become a big driver of calls and inquiries for your business, often equaling or exceeding your website! In fact, your Google Business page has become sort of a second website that is ranked separately from your main website and is shown right at the top of the page for search terms. in a grouping of three.

What we’re seeing for clients who  rank well with their Google Business Page is a 25% – 50% boost in business!

That’s why we take your Google My Business page very seriously, working it hard to rank better for your search terms.

Other Internet Assets

Other internet assets, besides your website can include the following;

  • Facebook
  • Yelp
  • expertise.com
  • AVVO (if you’re a lawyer)
  • Many other, especially industry-specific directory sites

It’s important to gradually and continually place your business on as many directory sites as possible, especially industry-related sites. This accomplishes at least two objectives;

  • Helps establish legitimacy, especially for a new business
  • Sometimes gives a nice do-follow backlink.
